Meet Harper . . .

Hi, I’m Harper Wolffram, an ordinary dude from Wellington, New Zealand.

In 2025 I’m walking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) with two of my good mates.

I have Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) which makes this huge 4,265km (2,650 miles), 5-6 month walk a little more challenging. I need to get my insulin to myself at points along the trail; carry a lot of extra stuff (insulin infusion sites, glucose monitors, hypo treatments, etc); and try to manage my blood glucose levels in some pretty extreme and isolated environments.

I’ve done a fair bit of hiking but this is gonna be another level, a journey of a lifetime. I’ve been talking about doing this for several years now and before I was diagnosed with T1D. It’s a crazy dream and I’m super excited that this year I’m finally gonna make it happen!

I believe I have what it takes and I hope to show, with your support, that people with T1D can do anything they set their minds to!

I’m looking for sponsors and support, including funding, gear and helping bring my insulin to me on the trail. In exchange for sponsorship/gear I’ll promote my supporters on my Instagram and this website.

I’d love to hear from you if you can help in any way – see Contact page.
